*Free* Star Trek Dream (Furcadia) by CoffeeOctopus *Free* Star Trek Dream (Furcadia) by CoffeeOctopus
Now that is out of the way...

AAAAAAAA so this wasn't supposed to be as involved as it was, but I decided to make a free dream of crew quarters of the Enterprise-D. Isn't as accurate as I hoped it would be, but there is only so much you can do with Furcadia dimensions, and have the player fit.
Patches include everything in the photo, plus a few flavor items such as padds, and a computer terminal. Feel free to edit the items as you please.  Stars are animated in two parts to fly by the room like the ship is in flight.

I'll just go dip my face in acid now.

Sweet Jesus on the hood of a mercedes benz. I can't even contain how gushy I am over this. I made this with the mindset that it would only be appreciated by myself, and a few friends. Maybe one or two other people would give it a look. I've been in a really low emotional place, and waking up this morning to see all this positive feedback has been overwhelming, and got to me in a really good way.

*Edit 2.0*

Once again, thank you for the overwhelming feedback. I'd like to point out some details that I feel would alleviate a lot of repetitive questions.

1. This is NOT for Habbo. It is game map for the graphic chatroom, Furcadia.
2. This dream is furnished to the bare minimum. I put in the basics of what I saw continuously in crew quarters in TNG. The purpose of this free file is for people to take this basic shell, and edit it to make it their own.
3. I am fully aware of any, and all inaccuracies. Most of these are due to my own preference (this was first, and foremost for my own personal use before I decided to release them for free), and because of the limitations of making the dream player avatar friendly. IE: the windows being slanted at a more vertical angle due to character heads popping up behind them.
4. I am not open for dream commissions, so please do not note me about them.
5. Yes, I will be making more free to use dreams in the future. So stay tuned.

Hnnnnn oh my sweet sugary goodness with cake!

This is so much more amazing than mine is going to turn out. D:

I'm thinking 'lade da I'm gonna do simple shaaaading, and make this eaaaasy because no would expect anyone in their right mind to-"

And then this. This wonderful piece of pixels and love and art. D:

You even have floor color changes for light levels and and and -cries-

You are so amazing and I am sad for myself.

Also NOOO I was working on the Bridge of the Voyager for a friend of mine, and had a total break down because it's so difficult to make round shapes work in Furcadia, and allow the character to naturally move around. I'd be lying if I wasn't struck with a pang of jealousy looking at your WIP.
I'm just glad to see people expanding from making dreams one repeating wall shape at a time, and working in figure sets! It's the difference between a drab, square room, and a dynamic one! I'm so excited to see yours. ;u;

No be jealous. D: I have no idea if this will even work in furcadia. Currently it's all one piece chunk in photoshop rofl. I'll have to cut it out later and see if it actually works. If it doesn't it will end up just being a pretty pixel. xD

And yea, when I get to the hallways the walls will be a little more repetitive (maybe, we'll see rofl) and the civilian quarters. I got tired of square rooms. xD

I've been working on a Romulan arboretum, and it's been kicking my ass. :c My best advice is to make a grid in .fox to outline the floor square shapes, and draw on top of it. I don't think for a minute you'll have to scrap your dream. Can easily edit. This dream took over a thousand edits to it's shell to get just right, but the results are satisfying!

Yea I'll be using a grid to cut out everything once I finish it, though to make the base I laid out a rough blueprint of what I wanted in dreamed (Used boxes for the raised section of floor lol) to give me a good idea of how it would look, then I just drew over it in photoshop.

There are areas that I'm concerned won't fit right, and I'm positive I'll be making little adjustments afterwards to everything in dreamed. xD But we'll see how it goes! At this point my main concern is lighting and getting everything to look nice with the light sources I'm going to put in.

Good luck on the arboretum!
